Title: Oregon Board of Accountancy Meeting
Location: Oct 4th, SBA 290 and Oct 5th, SMSU 328/9
Description: The Oregon Board of Accountancy will be meeting at PSU on October 4 & 5th.

The meeting on October 4th is in SBA 290. This is a work session for the board where the board discusses (1) rule making and (2) long range policies and planning
The meeting on October 5th is in SMSU 328/9. This is the actual board meeting that addresses a variety of issues.

The Board would like sto specifically invite PSU students and faculty to observe the accounting regulatory process in action and we encourage student to drop in during the day at your convenience to obtain an understanding of board activities.

Students and faculty are invited to join the Board of Lunch on Monday, October 5th. I encourage you to consider attending the lunch or stopping by during either of the meetings.

Description: Founded in 1991, Party in the Park is the biggest recruitment event at Portland State University and is one of the most celebrated traditional events on campus. A tradition on campus for 18 years, Party in the Park draws thousands of new PSU students to the Park Blocks for a day of free food, entertainment, networking, and information about campus activities. Opportunities for students to get involved range from multicultural student groups like the NAACP and Kaibigan: Filipino American Student Association to business groups like the American Marketing Student Association to information about employment, scholarships, tutoring, and many other services. The purpose of Party in the Park is to promote involvement in student activities, leadership, and organizations.

Location: PSU Career Center USB 402
Description: This event is free and you do not need to be a BAP member to participate. Recruiters from major accounting firms will be available to review your resume and provide valuable one-on-one feedback. This is a terrific opportunity to polish your resume before you submit it for inclusion in the BAP Resume Book. Dress is business casual. Bring cover letter and resume to the event.

Sign-up for a 30 minute appointment between 9:00am – 12:00pm (last appointment at 11:30am), and between 1:00pm – 4:00pm (last appointment at 3:30pm)

You MUST sign up in person during the week of Aug 3-7th at the PSU Career Center, USB 402

The critique appointments will also be held at the PSU Career Center on Wednesday August 19, 2009
